9 Lively Cat Tales
Cat Bath
Ever give your cat a bath?
My, cats love it so!
We gave our kitty one today,
So you see we know.
Got him wrestled in the tub,
Washed him in warm water,
Made him feel so clean and good
As any kitty oughter.
Soaped him up without a scratch,
Just four hands required;
Held him firmly, rinsed him off,
Just what he desired.
Finally done, we toweled him down.
He helped by shaking, too.
So go and bathe your cat today;
He’ll love it, we promise you!
The Wildebeest and a Bunch of Crock
Never Knew a Gnu
I never knew a gnu, did you?
Nor very well a lion,
But I can tell you of the two
Which one to keep an eye on.
Letter to a Dandelion
Welcome to Our Yard
and Garden
Read with pleasure
At your leisure
About our yard and
Lovely garden
Through each season
Warm to freezin’:
Springtime growing,
Summer mowing,
Fall leaves blowing,
Winter snowing,
Watching nature
Do her thing,
All year round
And back to spring!
